Short Bio: George is an experienced corporate affairs executive drawing on over 20 years of leading policy and communication teams in the public and private sector. George is responsible for Arla Food’s political and civil society engagement, with a particular focus on how Arla works with partners to create a global sustainable food system. Prior to joining Arla, George was a diplomat in the UK’s Foreign Ministry for over a decade, working on the UK’s relationship with the European Union Institutions, and leading communications and Asia regional policy in the British Embassy in Thailand and the British High Commission in Australia. George has also worked in the Scottish Government’s Department for Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Danish Ministry of Agriculture and the Australian Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade.
