Martin Ziaja

President of the District Cattle Breeders' Association in Opole

Together with his son, Lukas, Martin Ziaja manages a 220-hectare farm in the Opole Voivodeship, specializing in dairy production. The farm maintains a herd of 200 dairy cows with an average annual milk yield of 11,600 liters per cow, in addition to replacement heifers and young stock.Alongside running the family farm, he has served for many years as President of the District Cattle Breeders' Association in Opole. He is also a member of the Management Board of the Polish Federation of Cattle Breeders and Dairy Farmers, where he chairs the Economic Council for Milk Production and the Dairy Market.In addition, he is a member of international organizations such as European Dairy Farmers (EDF) and DLG – Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft (German Agricultural Society).For many years, Martin Ziaja has closely followed developments in the dairy market and has written regular columns for agricultural media focusing on the dairy industry. As a speaker, he frequently participates in agricultural conferences, delivering presentations on topics including dairy farming, cattle breeding, and milk production.
